3id Design Corporation is a consortium of renown lighting designers, directors of photography and lighting professionals. Officially formed in 2006 after decades of collaboration together, 3id’s main design team is composed of Jean Renaud, Normand Chassé & Vincent Colbert.
Together they cumulate an unprecedent experience in lighting and visual design, programming, direction of photography, lighting direction and consulting in various fields such as live television specials, live entertainment, theatre, movies, corporate and architecture. 3id’s staff has been involved in creative design for shows of any sizes, from worldwide events and tours to Olympics games and small intimate shows. 3id designers also received numerous Gemini, Felix and Gemeaux nominations for their work.
As a lighting design group, 3id is also surrounded by experienced and creative artists working in complementary disciplines such as direction, video, projection, stage and set design. Using these resources, 3id can offer a complete design solution that allows our clients to have a single artistic vision driving Lighting, Video, Stage & Set design.
Combined with their experience, 3id’s designers are also using the latest technologies to achieve innovative visual designs.
3id has its own WYSIWYG virtual programming studio and GrandMA-2 lighting console, which makes it possible to create and visualize a complete production before actually getting to the venue, allowing to spend more time creating while saving considerably on crew and venue cost.
